Getting individual staff members to work cohesively as a team, or reminding them of the importance of team values, can be difficult for any manager in today’s busy and dynamic business environment.

The aim of this one day team building training course is to provide participants with the knowledge, skills and confidence to choose, train and build their own teams for success.

The course combines the theoretical concepts of team building and development, reinforced with real-life application in the sporting arena. This course is delivered by Innovo staff who have vast experience in developing teams in conjunction with Adrian Birrell www.personallyspeaking.ie/adrian_birrell_1.html

Adrian Birrell is the former Ireland cricket coach who brought the Irish team to the World Cup for the first time in 2007. Adrian is originally from South Africa where he played international cricket and coached the U19 national side. Adrian brings a unique and individual input to the course. His experience as a successful player and coach give him exceptional and illuminating insights into the powerful role that teamwork can play in the fortunes of a company or organisation.

The tasks and challenges included in this course are designed to engage participants through fun based learning tasks, measuring their decision making ability and identify group traits.

By completing this course participants will:

Appreciate the role of team-working in an organisation.
Understand how team are best constructed.
Develop an awareness of the different roles and personality types in team-working.
Work effectively as a team member.
Develop a range of skills effective in team-working.
Implement team actions.
